Definition,Aims,Role and Background


UNESCO Cubs are groups of people of all ages and social and professional backgrounds who share UNESCO's ideal endeavour to make it known and associate themselves with its work by undertaking activities directly inspired by those of the organization.

The term UNESCO Clubs is used for the sake of simplicity because it is one of the most frequently employed, although in several countries variations are found such as UNESCO associations/centres /circles or groups etc. but all meaning the same thing.

There is a total of over sixty (60) clubs in T&T. Clubs are based in primary and secondary schools as well as in the wider community

UNESCO Clubs are organized in four regions headed by:
